The Star of Bethlehem

Our family service on Christmas Eve featured a Christmas Card from God and also four angels and a star. The angels and a star were helium balloons, high up in the roof, with messages from God.

The angel balloons, being made of latex, very quickly deflated, but the golden star continued to fly high in the church on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

I arrived at the church today, to find the following scene

The Star of Bethlehem
The Star had come down from the rafters and, on Epiphany Sunday, had come to rest over the place where Jesus lay - and it stayed there throughout today's services.
